Have a high Testosterone!

Importance of Testosterone

I keep hearing this: “After 30 your testosterone is going down 1% a year so that by your 40 you feel low energy, you feel like half the man you used to be...” Well, maybe so, especially if you stick to Coca-Cola, Gatorade, Powerade and fast food. In my 57 I have no idea what it is like feeling low energy, I do 315 pound squat 17 times and I plan to make 20 soon, my max is 475 (2.6 times my body weight) and I plan for 495 – five 45 lbs plates each side.

It’s a pity that average athletes are not particularly motivated to work on their legs. This is why there is always squat rack available in my 24 h Fitness club. As a result, I am not in the 33% of Americans who are diabetic (26 million) and pre-diabetic (79 million). I do not drink soda not only because it may cause brain damage but because I simply prefer human’s best natural zero calorie drink – water. I do not take testosterone pills not only because it does suppress production of your natural testosterone and also may cause heart attacks and strokes but because my body does naturally produce plenty of it!

Testosterone: chemical structure

While natural daily production of testosterone in men is 20 times the amount produced in women this is a hormone of critical importance for both men and women. Testosterone affects the entire body; at its normal levels it gives you all you want: stamina, well-being, self-confidence, optimism, physical strength, strong bones, cognitive efficiency and sex drive. In other words, testosterone is a hormone of success.

Remember this remarkable fact: When you do work for your legs you also work for your brain improvement!

Exercise helps improve brain functionsSustained low levels of testosterone lead to opposite: obesity, brittle bones, muscle loss, low sex drive, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, fatigue, erectile dysfunction and impotence. What is your choice?

Dangers of Testosterone treatments

But make no mistake; you cannot create your success story by taking testosterone medications: Exogenous testosterone causes suppression of spermatogenesis and can lead to infertility. Deficiency in vitamins B, E and A, exposure to anabolic steroids, heavy metals like cadmium and lead, x-rays, dioxin, alcohol, and infectious diseases will also adversely affect the rate of spermatogenesis. Although some men believe that taking testosterone medications may help them feel younger and more vigorous as they age, few rigorous studies have examined testosterone therapy in men who have healthy testosterone levels – and many small studies have revealed uncertain results. Studies in men with hypogonadism indicate that testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT) may produce a wide range of benefits that include improvement in libido and sexual function, bone density, muscle mass, body composition, mood, erythropoiesis, cognition, quality of life and cardiovascular disease.

pills

The fact that a chemical is naturally produced in human body does not mean at all that you can take it as a supplement “for better health.” In general, the reason behind is simple: All bio-molecules needed to support life and functions of human body are carefully controlled by bio-chemical mechanisms. Irresponsible consumption of extra amounts of vital chemicals may be health damaging. One of the most outrageous examples is drinking hydrogen peroxide for cancer cure.

According to Consumer Reports, two years ago, drug-makers spent $14 million promoting prescription testosterone then in 2012 they spent $100 million with total sales of $2 billion. But you should not irresponsibly play with hormones – natural chemical substances which regulate such activities as digestion, metabolism, growth, reproduction, and mood. Taking testosterone medications, which can cost $400 a month, may pose serious risks including worsening of enlarged prostate, worsening of prostate cancer, enlarged breasts, sleep apnea, blood clots in the legs, and for younger men, lower fertility.

In 2009 FDA released warning with regard to testosterone gel products AndroGel and Testim: “Despite the currently labeled precautions, FDA has received reports of eight cases of secondary exposure to testosterone in children ranging in age from nine months to five years. Adverse events reported in these children included inappropriate enlargement of the genitalia (penis or clitoris), premature development of pubic hair, advanced bone age, increased libido and aggressive behavior.”

Other possible risks include worsening symptoms of benign prostatic enlargement, liver toxicity, hyperviscosity, erythrocytosis, worsening untreated sleep apnea or severe heart failure. Despite this controversy, testosterone supplementation in the United States has increased substantially over the past several years. Here is a review discussing what is known regarding the benefits and risks of TRT.

Obviously if we have natural ways to improve and maintain our testosterone level we should go ahead. Everything is interrelated in our nature. This is why your brain is important for your legs but also your legs are important for your brain!

Boost your Testosterone naturally

Fortunately, there are natural methods for boosting your testosterone. As always, food is of the greatest importance; first of all, watch what you eat! For instance, surprisingly, research shows that garlic increases testicular testosterone levels! Indeed, garlic is your best friend.

There are a number of other ways you can naturally boost your testosterone levels without all the associated risks. Exercises like dead-lifts, squats and bench presses require you to use a number of large muscle groups simultaneously. Studies show that this is the most effective way of boosting testosterone, as the stress that compound weights put on your body requires higher levels of testosterone to aid muscle repair than those required during workouts that isolate individual muscle groups.

Enjoy Testosterone High!

Exercise can be useful for fixing a variety of conditions, including low testosterone. A 1993 study found that both moderate weight lifting and light weight lifting significantly increased the level of testosterone in the blood for a period of time immediately following the exercise.  It is also said that using heavier weights and working the biggest muscles in the body – the quads, butt and lower back – can increase testosterone levels the most.

In another study (1996) conducted in healthy older men aged 66 to 76 years serum testosterone increased 39%, sex hormone-binding globulin 19%, total serum protein 13%, and the free testosterone index 23% was found increased during exercise.

Here is another remarkable example of rejuvenating effects of regular exercises on an elder man: In his 64 grandfather loses weight, gets ripped, becomes internet star. Obviously, this guy does not suffer from lack of energy and low testosterone!

Bottom line. There is not much new to say: Do not take testosterone pills, but instead eat right, exercise regularly and your testosterone level will always keep you physically and mentally strong, self-confident, healthy, successful and happy. Have a high testosterone and enjoy testosterone high!

  1. Will the use of Passion Rx increase my testosterone levels or other hormones? I am 59 with low T, DHEA, etc. No such testing has been done with checking blood levels of testosterone after Passion Rx use, so we don’t know what effects its use has on various hormone levels in the body.

Man, I am not a doctor to give you a clear answer, especially without even seen you. My personal opinion is expressed in this article: Eat right, exercise and you will never need spending a penny on “passion Rx” and the like. Be patient, it takes time to see improvements. In my opinion, taking hormone pills may further destroy your natural ability to produce your own testosterone.

  2. Let us first discuss about the mindset when enhancing testosterone levels in your body. You have to understand that most side effects will only occur when you seek am instant effect like a miracle cure. If you want something instant, then you have to pay the price for buying time like high cost of maintenance or a side effect to your body. You also need to understand how the body functions in order to follow the normal function of your system. Most importantly, you need to tap the power of nature and choose to go natural instead of the synthetic drugs and artificial hormones.

  3. Testosterone is the male sex hormone in the body, and testosterone levels normally rise during puberty and steadily increase up until around the age of 30.

I have to agree go natural pretty much anything man made isn’t good for you. God provides everything we need to be healthy. The human body is an awesome creation, it will repair itself if given the proper food.. I’m almost 60 and I can tell you it makes a big difference what you eat. I eat as little processed food as possible. Raise my own beef & pork, chickens. I feel like I’m 30.
