A year ago I have recommended Wheat Thins Original. For some reason Kraft Foods added Red 40 artificial color to their Wheat Thins Ranch, otherwise healthy snack. This time I would like to recommend Wheat Thins Multigrain snacks which contain 17 grams of whole grain per 31 g serving. Nutritionists recommend eating 3 or more servings of whole grain foods per day.
Good news is that Wheat Thins Multigrain come with no hostile chemicals in it (no red segments in the Dye Diet diagram). Hence, what you get is zero health risk of DDFI = 0/49 = 0 and excellent nutritional value: DDNF = 49/11 ~ 4.4 brought by 14 nutritious food additives (green segments) including 7 whole grain ingredients.
There are no food additives to avoid in Wheat Thins Multigrain but you should know that these snacks are HIGH in SODIUM supplying 0.2 g of table salt with every 15 pieces serving of the total fourteen. Salt consumption may contribute into high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Bottom line. You can safely enjoy eating Wheat Thins Multigrain in moderation. Control your sodium and caloric intake: two servings of the snack will make you feel satiated. That’s what I felt after trying Wheat Thins Multigrain snack.
