Why let Jell-O terrorize your health?

November 10, 2012 |

I wonder what’s on minds of those who buy Jell-O “snacks.” Do they believe they buy food? What do they think when they treat their poor children to this animal gelatin contaminated with a variety of chemicals? Do they think this is a healthy low calorie strawberry snack? Terrorist attacks kill people instantaneously; food surrogates like Jell-O undermine their health slowly so that the damage can lurk unnoticed for years. Look carefully at the ingredients to see what a waste Jell-O Strawberry is. Needless to say: there is no strawberry.

Jell-O Strawberry: Risk, Nutrition and Dye ContentJell-O Strawberry: Risk, Nutrition and Dye Content

Red DyeDiet diagram indicates UNACCEPTABLY high chemical risk DDFI = 37/3 ~ 12 and essentially ZERO nutritional value of DDNF = 3/49 ~ 0. What nourishing benefits do you expect from eating these chemicals?

Gelatin is the only ingredient of Jell-O which can be utilized by the human’s body. It is commonly used gelling agent, a protein with less nutritional value than many other proteins. According to the Wikipedia: The U.S. FDA, with support from the TSE (Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy) Advisory Committee, has since 1997 been monitoring the potential risk of transmitting animal diseases, especially bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), commonly known as Mad Cow disease. The FDA study concluded: “…steps such as heat, alkaline treatment, and filtration could be effective in reducing the level of contaminating TSE agents; however, scientific evidence is insufficient at this time to demonstrate that these treatments would effectively remove the BSE infectious agent if present in the source material. Powdered Jell-O mixtures are no better choices. See: Artificial colors of Jell-O

Bottom line. Jell-O is one of the most disgusting hoaxes in the American food market. In human’s best interests is to boycott any Jell-O products. Buy Annie’s and Stretch Island Orchard fruit snacks instead. Stay human, resist turning to jellyfish and don’t let Jell-O to terrorize your and your children’s health!
